With its brilliant, bright ruby color and purple undertones, our Clos Marey-Monge 2018 is a complex, generous, and aromatic wine. The nose, flattering, reveals delicately powdered aromas along with notes of dried flowers, fresh roses and black fruit, highlighted by an iodine, finely peppery note. The palate is fresh, round and generous, while the tannins are silky with a light sweetness. The very full finish gives this powerful wine an airy side. A great Pommard for aging, but one which can also be appreciated today.
