This is the venture of Michael Hill Smith and Martin Shaw, established in the shadow of Shaw + Smith, but with an entirely different focus andseparate marketing. The name reflects the two wines, a McLaren Vale Grenache and an Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris, both intended for casualconsumption, the whole focus being freshness combined with seductive mouthfeel. The concept of matching variety and place is one withoutany particular limits.
